Andrew Sanchez is currently a third year undergraduate studying chemical engineering. He has been in the lab since summer 2016 and has worked on the spider silk project with Thomas Dugger. He currently works with Parawee Pumwongpitak on the Lithium Iron Phosphate study. Currently, they study the nucleation and growth mechanisms of the material in order to be able to optimize battery performance such as those in everyday electronics.
