About

I am a first year graduate student in the department of Materials Science and Engineering. My research focuses on TiO 2 nanocomposite materials for water filtration applications. I received my B.S. in Nanoengineering with a minor in Neuroscience at UC San Diego. Outside of the lab I enjoy hiking and other outdoor activities.

Research

Wastewater is becoming more difficult to process. To tackle on the increasing demand for clean drinkable water we are using Advanced Oxidation Technologies that uses catalytic activity of semi-conducting metal oxides such as Titanium Dioxide. We are developing a Titanium dioxide photocatalytic membrane for water filtration applications using nanostructured materials.
