Today was a long day. We spent several hours in the morning in the lab, watching and waiting as the lab work began. It doesn't appear as if we will be allowed to use the IC manufacturing equipment, so much of the time in the lab was spent observing what Peng (our host student) was doing. During the afternoon, we returned to the lab for a while, and also went out to one of the major intersections to traffic watch. A video should be out soon showing just how crazy and dangerous the intersections in Beijing are.

An IC made by one of the host students.
Blim and somebody looking at the chip. The bunny suits work well at disguising identities.
A night view from the dormitory. Other, similar dorms are on the right hand side and the recreational courts are on the left.
